February is the month of love and we’re showing our admiration for all Thrive members by offering the healthiest and most equipped gym in the area. Message from the owner:

Caring for yourself is a critical part of caring for others and at Thrive Gym we see you doing your part. Early 2022 has presented itself with, yet again, new global health challenges but we feel strongly that Thrive Gym offers new ways to stay healthy while working out. We are continuing to go above and beyond in sanitization to ensure our members feel safe while building their immunity and strength during workouts at Thrive Gym. By caring for yourself within the facility, you are directly caring for other members as well and we can’t thank you enough for the ownership you have all taken to wipe down the equipment before and after use.

Exercise of the month:

Heel Slide Reverse Crunches

Heel Slide Reverse Crunches not only target abs but also hamstrings, glutes and triceps. In addition, by working the core to the fullest the exercise helps to prevent and treat low back pain/discomfort.

You will need 2 sliders (substitute towels) and a hard/smooth surface. Extend both legs out in front, in a pike position. Push hands against the floor to raise hips up and while digging your heels into the floor slide legs back as far as range of motion allows. Return to original starting position and repeat. 3×10.

With new classes and limited equipment, we ask members to PLEASE reserve their spot for our classes ahead of time. This helps us ensure your spot and make adjustments to the classes if needed. If you did not receive this email or can’t find it, just send us an email or stop by the front desk and we will email you a link to get all signed up or change your password for Zen Planner!
