We have some exciting things planned for the future of Thrive Gym.  As promised, we will be adding additional LIVE group exercise classes during the last quarter of 2020 and daycare will be returning on November 1st, 2020.  We are currently featuring our affordable and certified personal trainers to help you reach and surpass all of your fitness goals so don’t wait to get a jump on your New Year’s Resolutions at Thrive Gym, START TODAY!  We appreciate your support and understanding as we strive to offer the cleanest, most equipped wellness center available.

Exercise of the Month: Swissball Jacknife

This exercise targets muscles in your lower belly, plus it works your rectus abdominus (as in, your six-pack muscles), hips, and low back.

How to Do It: Assume a pushup/plank position with your arms completely straight. Rest your shins on a Swiss ball. Your body should form a straight line from your head to your ankles (A). Without changing your lower back posture, roll the Swiss ball toward your chest by pulling it forward with your feet. Pause (B), then return the ball to the starting position by rolling it backward. That’s one rep. Pull the ball closer to your hips for a modified version of this exercise.

Going 24 hours – We love how much you enjoy Thrive Gym but unfortunately can not staff our business hours to monitor 24/7 access. We take pride in our space and want to maintain proper cleanliness and ensure our equipment stays in its home to accomodate all of your fitness needs upon arrival. We don’t want to take away from seeing you all crush your fitness goals and we thoroughly enjoy greeting each of you with a friendly smile and we hope you feel the same about seeing us!

Wifi in Sauna – Our WiFi does reach into the sauna! We have noticed that phones have trouble with the WiFi and working in general when in the Sauna at 180º+!

New Foam Rollers – Who doesn’t love a good foam rolling therapy time? These have been ordered for your enjoyment!

Rolling Ab Machine or Swinging Ab Machine – We do have a Swinging Ab Machine next to our pulley system!!

Arrange Free Weights – These have numbers to put on the rack ordered, please watch for their addition to the workout floor coming soon!!

Glute Machine – We have added a lot of new equipment to the gym floor this year, we plan to discuss adding more/different equipment, including different glute machines, at the beginning of 2021!

New Music – We have been switching up our Pandora stations the last few weeks and will continue to do so! We hope those who wanted different music have noticed!
